27 November 2025, Putrajaya - YBhg. Dato' Haslina binti Abdul Hamid, Secretary General Ministry of National Unity welcomed the distinguished guests, delegates from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to the Ministry of National Unity.

The Ministry of National Unity is truly honoured to host this group of mayors, vice mayors, senior local government officials, and programme partners as part of the 2nd International Learning Exchange on Social Cohesion and Resilience. This session offered a meaningful overview of how unity is nurtured in Malaysia through our policies, our community structures and our work on the ground.

The friendship between Malaysia and the Philippines has been established for a long time, and we are learning from each other in many ways. BARMM visit today is truly a step forward in strengthening our relationship and it reflects our shared hope for a more peaceful and inclusive communities, both in Malaysia and in the Bangsamoro region.
